Role Summary:
- Lead a part-time, 24-week Data Analytics Bootcamp.
- Teach critical data analysis tools: Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons and materials based on GA's curriculum.
- Support diverse learning styles to ensure student success.
- Guide students in creating impressive final projects that demonstrate their new skills.
- Foster a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive classroom environment.
- Inspire students to overcome challenges while learning valuable skills.
Role Requirements:
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python Programming.
- Passionate about mentoring and educating emerging tech talent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in data analysis and presentation.
- Available to teach Sunday to Wednesday, 6pm to 9pm in Bahrain.
- Commitment to pre-class preparation and collaboration with GA staff.

What do we teach?
- In this 24week (part-time) Data Analytics Bootcamp, students learn and practice turning messy real-world datasets into actionable, data-driven insights they can communicate. We will be using Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python as the tools for analysis.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- You have strong experience using the following tools: Excel, SQL, Tableau, POWER BI and Python Programming.
- You are eager to shape the skills, minds, and trajectories of eager General Assembly students.
- You are the person that your colleagues naturally gravitate to when they are trying to figure something out.
- You have at least 3 years of work experience in a role where you’ve been responsible for cleaning messy data, analyzing the data and presenting your data based insights.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Teach Sunday to Wednesday, 6pm to 9pm for the duration of the 24-week course, in-person on campus in Bahrain.
- Instructors will need to commit a few hours per day preparing lessons and materials, leveraging existing GA curriculum content.
- Work alongside GA staff and teaching team to best meet the needs and learning styles of your students.
- Guide students through development of a stellar final project that will showcase their abilities to hiring managers.
- Facilitate a dynamic and collaborative classroom community.
- Inspire students to persevere through the challenges of learning a new suite of skills.
