Role Summary
- Frontline in assisting customers understand the benefits of small group adventure travel with Explore.
- Boost revenue through conversion of all lines of enquiry.
- Respond to incoming sales enquiries through calls, e-mails, live chat and booking platform.
- Responsible for checking availability and status of tours, quoting prices and taking payments.
Role Requirements
- Passion for sustainable, adventure travel.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service or contact centre environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and achieve team goals/KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Added advantage if you have travel industry sales experiences and/or used CRM or GDS.

The role As a Holiday Sales Consultant, you will be the frontline in helping customers understand the benefits of small group adventure travel with Explore. Focused on increasing revenue through our sales through service mantra, you will strive to convert at the highest level all lines of enquiry. Your responsibilities include receiving and responding to incoming sales enquiries via calls, emails, live chat and booking platform. You will answer enquiries from direct customers and travel agents about our tours and destinations bringing the experience to life. Additionally, you will check availability and status of tours using our product database, quote prices of tours and take payments from customers.
Job requirements We are looking for your application to demonstrate passion for sustainable, adventure travel. Experience working in a sales, customer service or contact centre environment is required. You should have experience of working in a team environment and achieving team goals/KPIs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Bonus points if you have travel industry sales experience and/or used a product database system, CRM or GDS.
Benefits Explore offers a competitive salary of £25,000 p.a. plus bonuses and up to £1,000 commission per month. We are committed to work-life balance and are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week). Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. You will also have the opportunity to travel overseas to experience our tours and product, and participate in occasional trade shows and customer events.
