Since 2009, we’ve held the firm belief that owning and driving an electric vehicle should be easy and affordable for everyone, because driving shouldn’t cost the earth. As a leading provider of electric vehicle charging across the UK, we’re excited to extend our expertise to making EV ownership accessible not only in the UK but also throughout Europe.
The Pod Point Technician is a key member of our Operations team, responsible for the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charge points within your local area. This role is primarily field based, with a daily travel time of roughly 1.5 hours. There's an exciting bonus for completing more than 12 installations per week.
On top of supporting the wider business with building the charging infrastructure across the UK you’ll be responsible for educating our customers about the world of EVs, being the face of Pod Point when completing installations, proactively managing stock levels, ordering, replenishing and returning equipment in a timely manner, working productively to meet required daily/weekly/monthly targets, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels from providing quality installs, working independently, but also a keen team player, adhering to Pod Point Health and Safety standards/ procedures.
We think the role would be great for somebody who has ideally had previous experience installing EV chargers, as well as someone with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, environmentally conscious, with a passion for sustainability, Full UK driving License, C&G Inspection and Testing.
Perks that spark joy include flexible hybrid working model, Salary Sacrifice EV Scheme and free Pod Point, 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), very generous parental and family leave, pension scheme with a 4.5% matched contribution, eyecare scheme, life insurance covering up to 4x your annual salary, virtual GP provided by HealthHero, Employee Assistance Program, family & friend discount scheme.
Please note, you must have the legal right to work in the UK. Your privacy is important to us, all information shared will be handled according to our Candidate Privacy Notice.
