We’re on a mission to make migration easy. We started building Marshmallow in 2017. Since then, we’ve grown from 3 to 700+ people, gained unicorn status, raised ~£140M over three funding rounds, turned profitable, insured millions of drivers and lent millions in car loans. But we’re only just getting started. Our goal is to become one of the largest financial services providers in the world. Over the next 10 years we’ll grow exponentially, not only by scaling our existing products, but also by building new ones. To achieve our goals we need incredibly ambitious, commercially driven people who never settle for ‘good enough’. Marshmallowers are hungry for autonomy and ownership, and would rather improve than coast. Everyone raises standards and has an impact, with a focus on collective success over self-interest. We’ve created an environment where curious, tenacious people win and grow together. If that sounds motivating, this could be the place for you.

Almost three years ago we bought the management of our claims in-house, and with that comes a highly complex and impactful part of the business that drives significant commercial outcomes. There are a number of challenges that the product team has to solve for; whether it is designing tools for our internal claim handlers and balancing partners and workflows, or addressing the needs of our customers who make a claim through our mobile app. You’ll be working alongside a Senior Product Designer whilst being embedded in a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, operations and data. You will be discovering, defining, testing and delivering at speed and with purpose.

You should apply if you enjoy complex problems, are actively using AI to optimize your workflow, have experience shipping to production, and are comfortable designing both internal tools and mobile apps. You are a self-starter looking to make continuous improvements to the products you work on.

Perks of the job include flexible working, competitive bonus scheme, flexible benefits budget, sabbatical leave, work from anywhere options, mental wellbeing support, learning and development opportunities, private health care, medical cash plan, tech scheme, and more. We also offer 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, a pension, cycle to work scheme, and monthly team and company-wide socials.
