As the Director of Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance function within Payhawk Financial Services UAB (PFS UAB), a licensed Electronic Money Institution (EMI) in Lithuania. You will oversee current processes, and drive the implementation of new ones. You will work as an integrated part of our global Compliance team, leveraging the broader organization and its resources to maintain an effective compliance and risk program and ensure that we meet all regulatory obligations.
Your responsibilities will include management of PFS UAB compliance risks, development of the overall strategy of the PFS UAB’s compliance function, ensuring processes are in line with statutory and regulatory requirements and industry guidance, and being directly accountable to the firm’s Management Board.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in a senior role in a regulated Financial Services industry (such as payments, banking or fintech) and ideally, in a fast-scaling environment, where they were responsible for building the team and processes from scratch.
We offer a monthly gross salary of 7,500, 30 days holiday paid leave, opportunity to use the Payhawk product with a monthly commuting allowance, health and fitness membership, private healthcare, an L&D budget to support continuous development, and the opportunity to exchange policy to another Payhawk office.
