Role Summary
- Develop and maintain the core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, Odoo.
- Manage operations such as registering farmers, optimizing logistics, tracking inventory, and processing mobile payments.
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of autonomous development experience.
- Hands-on experience in Odoo ERP development.
- Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML/QWeb, OWL, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with database engines like Postgres, MongoDB, Couchbase.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration.
- Preferred experience working in Agile environments.
- Eligibility for citizens or permanent residents of Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The role: As a Software Engineer on the Retail & Sales Team, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our core Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, Odoo. This system is crucial for managing operations such as registering farmers, optimizing logistics, tracking inventory, and processing mobile payments across multiple countries.
Job requirements: Candidates should have at least 3 years of development experience with autonomy and hands-on experience in Odoo ERP development, including proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML/QWeb, OWL, and JavaScript. Familiarity with database engines like Postgres, MongoDB, Couchbase, automated testing frameworks, and continuous integration is essential. Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
