Community Energy England is looking for a Community Energy Coordinator for Northern Powergrid. We are a not-for-profit organisation working on behalf of the community energy sector.
The role entails supporting the Community Energy Project Advisor and Community Energy Outreach Advisor to process requests, queries and administrative tasks in relation to the community energy programme. The successful candidate will attend regular engagement events, record findings and provide post-event summaries to feed learnings into the business.
Job requirements include facilitating connections between community organisations and relevant internal NPg staff, developing and disseminating literature and resources to promote NPg’s energy support initiatives, overseeing the advertising of NPg’s Net Zero Community Energy Fund and developing strategies to drive engagement with and recruitment to the PSR, in particular in communities that have been identified as particularly vulnerable.
The salary for this role is competitive, ranging from £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience.
