Role Summary:

- Address challenges in the community energy sector with solution-oriented strategies, leading to product and project development.
Role Requirements:
- Experience in relationship management and business development.
- Knowledge of renewable energy sector and community energy principles.
- Ability to negotiate and manage Power Purchase Agreements.
- Passion for not-for-profit work and commitment to community energy advocacy.

The role of Community Renewables Manager involves being a relationship manager, negotiating and managing Power Purchase Agreements to offtake the power the community-owned renewable generators produce. This offers market access and fair pricing to groups.
As the role holder, you will lead business development activity to develop new partnerships, grow Younity’s renewables portfolio and provide a solution-led approach to the challenges facing the community energy sector. This will result in product development and project management opportunities.
