- Lead and guide England's Disability elite/performance cricket program.
- Collaborate with domestic and Disability Premier League coaches to prepare athletes.
- Contribute to the team's performance and development with a focus on creating a positive impact.
- Work closely with the England Management Team to foster success.
- Proven experience in high-performance coaching environments.
- A minimum of a Level 3/Advanced coaching qualification or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Availability for weekends and overseas travel.

Deaf- Hearing Impaired/ Learning Disability (National Squads) with the addition of Physical Disability within the DPL.
We are looking for expressions of interest for England National Squads Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches, and/or DPL ( Disability Premier League) to work with the ECB on a consultancy basis (or on a secondment) to provide leadership, guidance and direction to the England Disability elite/performance programme. The National Squad coaches will liaise with domestic disability cricket coaches and Disability Premier League coaches in the preparation of disabled cricketers, utilising these coaches in England training sessions where applicable. The National Squad coaches will have a close working relationship with all members of the England Management Team including the Medical Services Lead, Performance Analyst and Operations Manager.
Candidates should have experience of working in a high performance environment and be a minimum of a Level 3/Advanced or working towards qualified coach.

YOU’LL BE DOING
Preparing and Selecting the country’s best available cricketers with a disability to play and win international cricket matches for England.
Providing feedback and development plans.
Setting individual and team performance targets for all England Disability Squad members.
To liaise regularly with the Performance Manager Disability Cricket on all matters relating to performance
Designing a training camp programme that allows for the development of the team & individual players
Leading the squad in overseas and home series
Supporting Coaches and working with coaches involved in the Disability Premier League/National Squads
You’ll maintain, and role model within the England Physical Disability team, the highest standards of behaviour and discipline.
YOU’LL HAVE
Experience as a Head Coach or leader of a high performance team with a proven track record of success
Understanding of domestic and international disability cricket
Experience of performance and technical analysis systems
Have a desire to continually develop yourself as a coach by attending training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong people management skills and a verifiable record of working within a multi-disciplinary environment in the delivery of coaching programmes
Experience of working with disabled cricketers is desirable but not essential.
Understanding of effective learning transfer

The ability to work weekends is essential and there will be a requirement for overseas travel.

YOU’LL RECEIVE
£175-225 day rate (depending on coaching level) for all domestic matches, training and screening days.
£100 admin fee – at the discretion of Centre staff Performance Manager and/or Operations Manager Disability Cricket
Suitable Uniform Provision
Time commitment (National squads) will be 6 weekends training (Oct – Apr) 8 match days in the season and overseas travel up to 3 weeks DPL 6 days match / competition and online prep before the competition
Please note that:
1. If successful, along with insurance and certificates associated with your role, we will require confirmation that you have appropriate business use insurance for your car, should you use it to drive to and from squad weekends and matches.
2. You will be able to claim for out of pocket expenses for lunches up to £12.00 per lunch (No alcohol to be claimed as expenses). You may also claim 45p per mile when driving your own personal vehicle.
3. During this contract, there will be no Friday Night stays unless agreed with the Disability Operations Manager. If a Friday night stay is agreed, then there will be no reimbursement for any expenses incurred.
