Role Summary:
- Be part of the Strategic Finance team and contribute to Corporate Strategy, Finance, M&A, and Investor Relations.
- Assist in resource allocation, Board meeting preparations, and execute corporate finance transactions.
- Engage in managing investor relations and drive strategic projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
Role Requirements:
- 2-4 years experience in Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, Management Consulting, or Private Equity.
- Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead projects.
- A proactive problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ambitious self-starter capable of driving change in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial Services/Payments or M&A experience is a bonus, but not mandatory.
- Keen interest in Payments, Fintech, and Technology sectors.

The Role Checkout.com is actively looking for a passionate and driven Associate to join the Strategic Finance team, covering Corporate Strategy, Corporate Finance, M&A, Investor Relations, and Board/ Management Reporting. Strategic Finance is a critical function sitting at the center of the broader finance team to help the CEO, CFO and other senior leaders allocate resources, prepare for Board meetings, execute Corporate Finance transactions, manage investor relations, and drive strategic projects including M&A.
Job Requirements Qualifications include 2-4 years of Investment Banking, Strategic Finance, Management Consulting, or Private Equity experience. Strong Excel, analytical, and critical thinking skills are required. Excellent communicator and collaborator - ability to clearly articulate insights, influence and align stakeholders, and drive projects. Attention to detail and proactive about identifying problems and implementing solutions. Self-starter able to drive projects, with a proven track record to enact change in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Financial Services/ Payments or M&A a plus, but not required. Strong Interest in Payments, Fintech, Technology.
