  • Role Summary:
    • Manage the daily operations of a diverse team of Claims Executives.
    • Develop and contribute to the overall claims operations strategy.
    • Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and underwriters.
    • Shape and streamline processes to set the team up for success.
  • Role Requirements:
    • Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
    • Experience in managing a varied team, including junior staff and Team Leads/Managers.
    • Knowledgeable in the motor claims insurance industry.
    • Experienced with customer-facing processes and understanding of customer expectations.

    • Initial call with a Talent Acquisition team member (30 minutes).
    • Skill-based/technical interview with a presentation task (60 minutes).
    • Culture fit interview to ensure alignment with company values (60 minutes).

The Role We're looking for a Claims Operations Manager to be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a growing team of executives, whilst also helping us establish and contribute to the wider claims operations strategy and processes. This is an opportunity to collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, underwriters and our operations team to set us up for success.

Job Requirements You have a proven ability to work strategically but are also able to get deep into the detail. You have previous experience in managing people with a range of experience level (from junior people to Team Leads / Managers). You have knowledge, experience and insights from the motor claims insurance space. You have exposure to customer-facing / frontline processes and an awareness of customer expectations (including TCF and vulnerable customer care).

Application Details We break it up into 3 stages: Initial call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team (30 mins), A skill-based/technical interview (including a presentation task) where you will discuss your previous experience with two members of our Claims team (60 minutes), A culture interview to check that your work style fits our processes and values (60 minutes).

Additional Information To meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means carrying out a DBS check and making sure you don't have any live criminal proceedings.
