Role Summary:Perform maintenance on customer coffee machines both on-site in London - Leyton, and in the workshop.Handle goods receipt, complete necessary paperwork, and prepare machines for dispatch.Conduct preventative maintenance, replace parts, and ensure clean functionality of machine components.Manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and provide support in maintaining customer machines.Benefit from developmental opportunities, with training provided by experienced staff.Use a provided hybrid van for work purposes, with support from a skilled team.
Role Requirements:Mechanical experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training is provided.Barista or espresso machine knowledge is a plus, with additional training available if needed.Capability to work both independently and collaboratively, upholding company values.Understanding of goods-in and goods-out processes is ideal.Keen attention to detail and adherence to company systems and processes.Strong time management and organisational skills across both digital and hands-on tasks.Flexibility for early morning or late evening work, as required.Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.A full UK Driving License is necessary.

The role As the Field and Workshop Technician, you'll be based in London - Leyton, with primary responsibilities for maintaining customer coffee machines both on-site and in the workshop. Duties include receipting goods, completing paperwork, dismantling machines for repair, troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, replacing parts, and preparing machines for dispatch and installation. You'll also clean parts to ensure proper functionality. This role involves managing a constant workflow, prioritising tasks, and supporting the field team in maintaining customer machines. It's a developmental position, with 1-2 days in the workshop and the rest in the field. You may also reinstall equipment you've serviced. Training includes time with our Workshop Coordinator and Senior Technician, followed by independent work. We offer regular upskilling sessions, both in-house and external. A hybrid van is provided for work use, with ongoing support from our experienced team.
Job requirements Mechanical experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Ability to work independently, building rapport and relationships with key suppliers and colleagues. Excellent verbal communication skills, with a friendly, professional, and accommodating manner. Full UK Driving License.
