Role Summary: Lead the sales process, from qualification to closing, including business analysis and product demonstration. Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas by closing new business and upselling within existing Italian and/or Iberian accounts. Apply consultative selling techniques to promote sustainable procurement solutions, using a 'land and expand' approach. Engage C-level prospects through high-quality online and in-person meetings and attend industry events in Italy and/or Spain and Portugal. Collaborate with various departments and your assigned mentor to maximize results in your region.
Role Requirements: 2-3 years of sales experience, particularly in ESG/Sustainability software solutions or related fields. Proven track record of exceeding $1m USD in yearly ARR quota. Strong relationship-building skills with C-level executives and experience in engaging multiple stakeholders. Exceptional presentation skills and proficiency in Salesforce.com. Excellent communication skills and fluency in Spanish and Italian, with English as a mandatory language.

Job Description
Manage the sales process through qualification, business analysis, product demonstration, negotiation contracting and closing
Close each quarter new business consistently at or above quota level
Close upselling or expansion opportunities among the current clients in Italy and/or Iberia (according to the distribution which will be announced by the Sales Manager) around 10 to 11 accounts.
Use your customer service or consultative selling skills to sell sustainable procurement solutions that are a success both from your and the customer perspective. For that, you can apply a “land and expand” methodology.
Conduct high quality meetings with C-level prospects in your territory via online and in-person meetings.
Attend in-person events in Italy and/or Spain and Portugal such as Procurement and Sustainability forums, symposiums, Partners’ events and the EcoVadis World Tour with some other team members.
Track record experience dealing with and knowledge of EcoVadis solutions, dynamics of the company, structure of the sales and customer success departments.
Develop business in Italy and/or Iberia through individual outbounding strategy/partners & network
Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s unique values and vision for the future
Involve in your discussions any relevant stakeholder when needed (account managers, onboarding, legal, solutions consulting, alliances, etc.).
Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to maximize the results of the Region. For that, you will be assigned a Mentor who will be supporting you along the way during the first 4 months in the role.
Qualifications
2 to 3 sales experience in Sales.
Experience / good understanding of ESG / Sustainability software solutions or experience in selling supplier relationship management tools or in procurement.
Experience selling to Procurement, Sustainability, Third Party Risk Management, Compliance personas in Spain.
High understanding of the Spanish market.
Track record of successfully exceeding $1m USD in yearly ARR quota
Able to develop and execute sales strategies involving multiple stake-holders, with a natural ability to rapidly identify and form relationships with decision makers
Ability to connect the dots among partners and your own contacts to fasten sales cycle and get to the ultimate decision maker
Proven ability to engage, build and manage C-level and Executive relationships. Well connected profile is a plus.
Exceptional presentation skills
Highly proficient in the use of Saleforce.com
Highly professional written and oral communication skills required
Ability to work well in an international team environment
Fluency in Spanish and Italian as per the assigned territory. English is mandatory being the official communication language of EcoVadis.
