Organisation - 4 Day Week We are a society where we work to live, rather than live to work. The 9-5, 5 day working week is outdated and no longer fit for purpose. In the UK, we work some of the longest hours in Europe while having one of the least productive economies. We're campaigning for a four-day, 32 hour working week with no loss of pay which would benefit workers, employers, the economy, our society and our environment.

The Role This is an exciting full time role working four days per week (28 hours) on one of the UK’s most prominent campaigns. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategies as part of campaign project work, helping to develop and advise on organisational strategy, leading on the planning, organising and execution of a new programme of 4 Day Week Employer events across the country, lobbying the Government, devolved administrations, local authorities and all political parties in support of a four-day working week, working with MPs, including through Select Committees, APPGs and other forums to promote the 4 Day Week Campaign's demands, acting as project manager, when appropriate, for delegated projects, working closely with campaign team colleagues, managing external consultants undertaking project work as and when required, working with the Trade Union movement to organise for a four-day week in workplaces across the country, supporting with coordination of the European and International Network of four-day week campaigners, drafting a quarterly newsletter to supporters, coordination of monthly volunteer meetings and annual AGM, leading on drafting op-eds and articles when appropriate, and building relationships and partnerships with new organisations.

Job Requirements Experience in project management, campaign coordination, and relationship building is required. Knowledge of the UK political landscape and the ability to work with MPs and other political figures is also necessary.

Benefits The role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per year. The position is based in London, but also offers the flexibility of online work.
