  • Role Summary:
    • Supervise farmer training, enrollments, and maize pickups in various districts.
    • Oversee sales and distribution within your area of operation.
    • Lead grain aggregation projects from preparation to execution.
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of micro entrepreneurs and cell officers.
    • Coordinate grain pickup, product sales, and delivery follow-ups.
    • Ensure accurate data reconciliation and foster strong partner relationships.
  • Role Requirements:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with smallholder farmers or field-based roles.
    • Proficiency in managing teams with at least 2 direct reports.
    • Technical expertise in Excel, data analysis, and email communication.
    • Fluency in Kinyarwanda and basic English skills.
    • Experience in rural marketing mobilization and field operations coordination.
    • Willingness to reside in Kayonza, Nyamasheke, or Musanze districts.

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips more than 4 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. We provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. Our team of 8,000+ full-time staff, drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions, enables any farmer to increase her income and assets on supported land by more than 40 percent, while permanently improving her climate resilience.

The Role As a MKT Site Senior Supervisor, you are expected to perform field work in the assigned districts of operation. This includes supervising the farmers training, enrollments and maize pick up. You will also supervise sales and distribution performance in the assigned districts.

Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include preparation and execution of grain aggregation projects in your site. You will recruit, train and manage a field team of micro entrepreneurs (MEs) and micro cell officers (MCOs) to support grain aggregation, mobilization and training of farmers. You will also manage the grain pick up, coordinate sales MKT product and delivery follow up MKT product Data reconciliation and build good relationship with partners.

Qualifications For this role, you will need 1+ years experience in servicing small holder farmers or working on in the field-based roles. You should be able to manage 2+ direct reports and multi-layer teams. Technical skills include: Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), data analysis, and email writing. Fluency in Kinyarwanda and Basic in English is required. Experience in marketing Mobilization in rural area and coordinating all field operations of the project is also required. You should be willing to live in the district of operations( Kayonza, Nyamasheke,Musanze).
