What will you be doing?
This role would involve helping our current students team with the creation, organisation and faciliation of our annual national healthcare leadership conference for students. This role would involve creating deadlines, project mapping and creating a timeline for the students to complete their responsibilities. It would involve meeting virtually with the team directors to catch up discuss where they are up to in the event organising. It would involve ticket promotion planning and ensuring all is going according to plan to ensure a successful conference. The role of project manager is to enable the team to have clear roles and responsibilities to ensure success.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a PM with leadership skills to run an effective team. They need to be organised and to be able to map out a plan with deadlines and chase these up. They need to be able to delegate to our volunteers effectively and independently organise meetings with the volunteers.
What difference will you make?
Our national conferences are free for all students and professionals who attend. This enables students to have opportunities they wouldnt have had before, to widen participation in healthcare and organise leadership opportunities. The conferences provide valuable networking, workshop and panel events for our students.
