Role Summary

  • Support the implementation of a new CRM system ensuring that supporter journey requirements are mapped and embedded
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver tailored supporter experiences and communications
  • Assist in designing, mapping and enhancing supporter experiences
  • Utilize data and insights to segment audiences and personalize interactions with supporters
  • Monitor performance, identify areas of improvement and communicate updates to the stakeholders

Role Requirements

  • Prior experience in marketing, supporter engagement, or customer service roles
  • Understanding of CRM systems and their role in managing supporter relationships
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and journey mapping tools
  • Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Capability to interpret data and apply insights

The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity dedicated to creating a world where trees and woods thrive for both people and nature. Our mission involves engaging and inspiring individuals to contribute toward tackling the nature and climate crisis through the protection, restoration, and creation of essential woodland habitats.

The Role: You will support the implementation and roll-out of our new CRM system and ensure supporter journey requirements are mapped and embedded. You will collaborate across departments to deliver tailored supporter journeys and communications. Additionally, you will assist in designing, mapping, and improving supporter experiences. You will also be responsible for reporting and analyzing data and insights to segment audiences and personalize supporter interactions. Developing campaign and journey documentation, monitoring performance, identifying improvements, and reporting to stakeholders on supporter journeys are also key aspects of this role. This role is a 9 Month Fixed Term Contract and includes a mix of working from home and at our main office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Visits to Grantham would be required no more than once a month on average.

Job Requirements: We are looking for candidates who have worked in marketing, supporter engagement, or customer experience roles. Experience with CRM systems and an understanding of their role in managing supporter relationships is essential. Desired knowledge includes supporter engagement and retention strategies, journey mapping tools, and/or marketing automation platforms. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across projects with multiple stakeholders and experience interpreting data and applying insights are also required. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to handle a busy workload with competing priorities are necessary.
