As the Store Manager at the high-performing Byres Road shop in Glasgow, your tasks include:

Save the Children UK is looking for a collaborative and influential leader to join our team as a Store Manager at our Byres Road, Glasgow location. This role offers the chance to lead a vibrant, high-performing volunteer team in creating an inspiring community retail space that maximizes income and champions our brand.

The Role: As Store Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of our busy Byres Road shop. This includes building and developing a motivated volunteer team, championing retail excellence, and delivering a shop offer that reflects our brand and the local community. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive, welcoming environment, managing operations across a large shop floor and basement sorting area, and driving commercial performance through excellent merchandising and strong local engagement.

Job Requirements: - Proven leadership experience in a retail or volunteer-led environment. - Strong organisational skills to manage a busy shop and a constant flow of new volunteers. - Confident IT skills including MS Office, email, and management systems. - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment. - A self-motivated, flexible, and resilient approach, able to adapt to change. - A commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission, and values.
