What will you be doing?

Learning Space is a children and young people’s mental health charity based in the south of England with over 20 years’ experience of working with children, young people and their families. We are looking for trustees who can bring skills, experiences and perspectives to support Learning Space in its constant drive to having more impact. Providing governance and strategic leadership is the core of the work.   If you can bring any of the following professional skills that would be a bonus: IT management, information governance, business process improvement, legal, HR, fundraising, solution focused approaches, evidence-based practice in mental health and emotional wellbeing, impact measurement, community engagement.

What are we looking for?

Our trustees need to provide governance and strategic leadership.  This means working as part of a team to have an oversight of the charity, provide leadership and to support the team who deliver our work. If you can bring any of the following professional skills that would be a bonus: IT management, information governance, business process improvement, legal, HR, fundraising, solution focused approaches, evidence-based practice in mental health and emotional wellbeing, impact measurement, community engagement.

What difference will you make?

As a trustee, you will help Learning Space maximise the impact it has by providing strategic guidance and oversight.  By helping the charity build a great team, spend its money carefully, have excellent governance, raise more funds and engage with stakeholders, you'll help more children, young people and their families achieve their best hopes.
