In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving new business and expanding our client portfolio within local authorities, schools, and educational organisations. With a strong background in solution selling and a passion for impact, you could be our new Sales Manager.

⭐️ What will be your mission?

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and acquiring new business, with a focus on promoting AV1 as a solution to school absenteeism. This role involves creating and directing outreach, developing relationships with stakeholders, and closing new business to support our growth in the UK market. Your core responsibilities include:

Sales Management:

  • Identify and acquire new clients, demonstrating AV1’s value as an efficient solution for local authorities, schools, and other educational institutions.
  • Drive revenue growth through rentals and sales of AV1, contributing to ARR and expanding our client base.
  • Manage long-term relationships with clients and maintain engagement through webinars, events, and community-building activities.
  • Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients, ensuring successful delivery and ongoing support of AV1.

Collaboration:

  • Work with Account Managers and Implementation Specialists to ensure successful AV1 pilots and projects.
  • Provide feedback to Product Management on market trends and client needs to support product development.

Reporting:

  • Track and report key metrics, such as client engagement and product usage.
  • Enter and monitor deals in HubSpot, providing accurate sales forecasts to senior leadership.

Who are you?

You are an experienced professional with a strong commercial background, ideally with:

  • 5+ years of sales experience, particularly selling to local authorities or schools.
  • Credibility and gravitas to discuss challenges faced by educators and offer solutions to absenteeism.
  • Great solution and consultative sales approach with experience in relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • A growth mindset and excellent problem-solving abilities, thinking outside the norm to address challenges.
  • Passion for impact: You believe in our mission and are motivated by the difference AV1 can make.

This is a commercial role for someone who knows what great looks like and consistently exceeds benchmarks, coupled with great communication skills.

📍Location: Remote from East of England, East Midlands or West Midlands. You’ll report to Sales Director UK and collaborate with cross-functional roles across our UK organisation.

The expected salary range for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 base + performance-based OTE. The listed expected salary range represents a good faith estimate and the actual pay may depend on a variety of job-related factors that can include experience, education and skills.
