RiseUp is a financial wellbeing membership founded to help combat the stress and anxiety caused by money. Through our cashflow app, supportive community and content, RiseUp provides the tools and support to help members improve their disposable income, save more and feel less stressed about money.

The RiseUp community helps members improve their financial wellbeing through open, honest and judgment-free money conversations via an online community, and access to members-only events, challenges, content & opportunities. The community equips members with the knowledge, support and motivation to help them feel more confident and in control of their money.

Our community is essential to our mission and sets us apart in the market. Expanding and engaging this community is a top priority. We’re seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Community Manager to oversee and grow our UK Community.

Responsibilities

  • Member relationships: Build deep connections with members and work with them to build a community that gives them value and that they want to be a part of. Connect with community members personally, understanding their motivations and goals. Engage regularly and deepen their involvement.
  • Community management: Manage the WhatsApp community by posting engaging content, answering questions, and moderating discussions. Be the main contact for all member interactions.
  • Community programming: Plan, promote, deliver and evaluate online and in-person events (meet-ups, networking events, panel discussions etc) and challenges (online time-bound experiences that equip members to tackle an area of their finances e.g. grocery savings challenge).
  • Member communications: Collaborate with the Head of Content to create engaging newsletters, promotional communications, and general member engagement communications.
  • Partnerships: Identify and deliver opportunities with sympathetic partners (e.g. organisations, communities, influencers) to attract new members into the community.
  • Internal advocacy: Share insights and feedback from members internally to help shape our community offerings and products.
  • Encourage product use: Work with the UK and Global teams to ensure our products serve the community’s needs and we are maximising opportunities to increase product usage amongst our members.
