Key Account Manager
- Location: London-based Hybrid/Flex: Lassell St, Greenwich, SE10 9PJ; Home office; and customer sites.
- Position: Full-time, Permanent, M-F (flexibility required for occasional project involvement or issue resolution)
- Salary: £37,000 - £39,000 (depending on experience) + £10K achievable bonus

Paul’s ambition when he started the bakery was simple: to provide London’s busy chefs with the best handcrafted bread, made from the finest ingredients possible. Today, as the bakery heads towards twenty years in business, the goal remains the same and this ambition underpins everything we do. Our bakers and pastry chefs, along with a vital support network of customer service and account managers, packers, and drivers, work around the clock to provide our customers, with an exciting selection of products that are always fresh, relevant, and delicious - that they are happy to serve to their customers.

We work with food businesses of all sizes, from hotels, restaurants, bars, retailers, delis, and small independents along with contract caterers, all of whom demand the best for their customers. Our business is constantly evolving, and we are always looking at new ways of working.
Key Account Manager:
The primary focus of the Key Account Manager is to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with our existing chefs and clients, supporting their needs and businesses whilst working to maintain, grow and look after ours.
Key Requirements of the Role:
A confident and self-motivated team member with a positive, collaborative outlook is critical for this role, and someone who loves the food industry and has a passion for service.
Confidence and an engaging way with people is key here – visiting busy kitchens, dealing with chefs, planning menus with them, planning launches, and of course, resolving things when they go wrong.
The successful candidate will have:
- proven account management experience and commercial acumen,
- experience in managing a portfolio of B2B relationships along with
- excellent attention to detail, communication, interpersonal skills, and being highly organized.
You will be adaptable, flexible, and solution-driven, enthusiastic to work as a team through the highs and lows. You will have a passion for food and be enthusiastic about Paul Rhodes Bakery, where we are as a business currently, and where we are going.
