- Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of diverse training formats (virtual, hybrid, in-person).
- Collaborate closely with funders, trainers, and participants to deliver high-quality training experiences.
- Contribute to marketing efforts by creating engaging materials with the Marketing team.
- Operational management of global training functions and addressing stakeholders' queries.
- Host and moderate training sessions and manage the content of training materials.
- Understand client and market demands to tailor training effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Communications, Education, or related field.
- Proven event management skills across various formats.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong self-direction, adaptability, and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills as a plus.
- Experience in NGOs or climate/finance sectors is desirable.

Job Title: Capacity Building Coordinator
Salary: Up to INR 2.300,000 DOE

Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the effective implementation of the training deliverables, from the perspective of the preparation, delivery and post-delivery.
The candidate will require strong event management skills and experience of managing a range of stakeholders both internal and external. Will need to be a diplomatic and confident communicator who is able to demonstrate initiative and stay calm in busy environments. Extremely critical for the role to be a committed team player and a self starter.
Requirements
- Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of virtual, hybrid and in-person trainings and workshops globally. This includes scheduling, liaising with funders, trainers, sub-contractors and facilitators; managing the booking process, event administration and stewardship of participants, ensuring smooth running of the events, and following up/evaluating post-event.
- Ensure participants’ experience and event accessibility is continually improving and adapting with regional expectations.
- Working with the Marketing team to create effective and engagement marketing materials
- Support day to day operational aspects of global training functions
- Act as the initial point of contact for the Climate Bonds Initiative Training and Capacity Building projects, handling all queries in a timely manner and ensuring all customers are in receipt of relevant information and documentation
- Support the delivery of training when needed, including occasional hosting and moderation as well as operational management to ensure training has been successfully delivered
- To work alongside the Capacity Building Specialist to ensure they are aware of the needs of Climate Bond’s funders.
- Occasional production and technical support for training deliverables, including updating and revising PowerPoint presentations and handouts
- Liaising with a broad spectrum of clients, participants, and stakeholders to understand their demand and training requirements to ensure CBI are delivering the appropriate training to the appropriate audience to maximise the potential of the green, social and sustainable bond market.

Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related subject such as Finance/Business/Communications/Education or equivalent
- Experience working on events through multiple formats e.g. online & in person, training & conference formats.
- Experience of budget development and management.
- Ability to self-direct and self-start, to work well under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
Desirable:
- Previous work for an NGO or in a climate/finance related sector
