Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • A robust understanding of UK political systems and policy related to international development and humanitarian issues is necessary.
  • Excellent in political analysis, risk management, and strategic advocacy, with experience in establishing relationships with high-level stakeholders and driving creative and influential lobbying efforts.

Save the Children UK is seeking a strategic and politically-minded individual to join our team as a Senior Public Affairs Advisor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is based in London, with the flexibility of remote work, requiring occasional office visits.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing high-impact influencing strategies, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring our advocacy effectively shapes policy outcomes for children. You will also support colleagues and enable children and families to engage confidently with decision-makers.
