What will you be doing?

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Animals and their welfare with a specific interest in Herpetology to join our team as a Foundation and Trust fundraising volunteer.  As a Grant and Trust fundraiser, the role offers flexibility in:

Researching potential grants from trusts and foundations

Writing applications to secure funding  Individual Giving

Identifying new fundraising initiatives and campaigns Monitoring income generation across platforms like JustGiving and Facebook

Creating engaging fundraising materials and thank-you plans for supporters Community Fundraising

Supporting local groups in running safe and effective fundraising campaigns Connecting groups to local grant-making organisations Delivering training on how to fundraise for climate-related projects

What are we looking for?

You have experience of fundraising, either through your work or previous volunteering. You are familiar with JustGiving and other online donation platforms You can write clearly and concisely. You’re reliable and able to work both independently and collaboratively Have access to a laptop/PC. Good communication skills and confident talking to a wide range of people. Basic IT and telephone skills.
