What will you be doing?

Do you empathise with our work, and want to work with a dynamic team of trustees, staff and counsellors to further develop the charity and its range of services ?  Do you have financial management experience, ideally with an accountancy qualification or part qualification ?  Can you spare a few hours each month to support us ? If so then we would be delighted to hear from you and receive your application. Further information about our charity is available on our website.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with financial experience.  Some commercial, business or not for profit experience would also be helpful. Our trustees meet monthly usually via Zoom to consider and review Relate Severn and Wye's strategic direction and its business develop plans. We need a Treasurer who can commit to attending these meetings.

You will be a member of the Board of Trustees and will contribute to the strategic direction of the charity. We are expanding our services to cover the three counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, and your input will be critical in doing the following; - regularly reviewing our finances against the approved annual budget- setting and reviewing our strategic targets- sound oversight of the management accounts- assisting us to further develop financial sustainability.
