In short, we believe business should always be a force for good. So, let’s start by admitting that job adverts could be better. Way better. Be gone with long-winded adverts, complete with uninspiring lists of “responsibilities” and generic recruitment jargon.
So have a read below and if this sounds like a position you would like to be considered for, then we’d love you to apply.
The bit about us:
Founded in 2019, by 3 incredibly motivated entrepreneurs whose mission was clear - business should be a force for good. And by good we mean; we consider people and planet as well as profit. We are very proud to be a certified B Corp!
We currently manage 400,000 sq ft of flexible co-working, event, and exclusive clubspaces for over 5000 members. We operate across the UK, with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Milton Keynes with plans to launch more sites in 2025 (and beyond!).
The bit about the role:
As the first person our members engage with at our iconic Marble Arch Clubspace (our Clubspace is a private members club with meeting and event space), you will understand what exceptional service looks like, and how to achieve that. Your friendly and enthusiastic nature is infectious, and everyone who interacts with you walks away a little bit happier!
While on the front desk, you will support the Club Operations & Event Manager by responding to email enquiries from prospective members, manage events inquiries, set up and book meeting rooms, liaise with suppliers and contractors, update invoices and support members with any ad hoc queries.
No two days are same – you relish the buzz of a varied role and enjoy the challenge of proactively exceeding our member’s expectations.
The hours are Mon - Fri and the typical shift is 8am - 5pm, though if we have an early breakfast meeting you might need to be onsite from 7.30am, so this position is perfect for a "morning" person! There may also be some later shifts to cover evening events, eg 12pm to 9pm, so some flexibility is required.
The bit about you:
Your friendly and approachable nature instantly puts people at ease – your people skills are through the roof amazing!!
You love being the “glue” that keeps everything ticking along and enjoy collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Trouble shooting is what you do best – you are solution based in your approach and as a brand ambassador you demonstrate composure (and kindness!) even on the bumpiest of days!
Ideally, you have at least 3 years in a similar client facing role.
Why x+why?
We want you to enjoy coming to work every day. Even on Mondays.
To make sure of this we will provide you with a phenomenal environment - think inspiring design, cutting edge tech, stunning views, great coffee, and lots and lots of plants! Plus, you’ll be part of our hugely supportive, collaborative team, who although take their members’ experience very seriously, also want to have a little fun along the way.
