Volunteer Reception & Administrative Volunteer

What will you be doing?

At Emersons Green Village Hall we hire out rooms for businesses to run classes, meetings and events. We also hire out rooms for parties at weekends and regularly organise a wide variety of events, including family entertainment, children's holiday activities, seasonal events plus a weekly coffee morning. Volunteering works best when you can match your interests to the opportunities available. At the Village Hall we have a wide range of projects where we need volunteer help. This may be anything from a weekly commitment, to volunteering a couple of times a year. We are looking for volunteers, both regular and for ad hoc support, to help at our events, provide support for specific projects and also at certain times of year to help with administration and reception cover.  Full training and support for the role will be provided. What are we looking for?

We are looking for volunteers with a wide variety of skills and a diversity of background and experiences. Experience in customer service or being involved in community projects would be helpful. We are looking for volunteers with great communication skills, who can be both friendly and professional with a wide range of hall users. Over 18 years old only.
