Volunteer Trustee Board Members

What will you be doing?

Trustees are involved in setting the strategic plans for the organisation and ensuring that key strategic priorities are maintained. We are looking for people to help lead the organisation and help develop our advice services. We want to develop a diverse Trustee Board which reflects our clients and communities. We are looking for trustees from all backgrounds, with skills to support the aims of the charity Comprehensive induction, training and support will be provided.

What are we looking for?

At this time, we are looking for trustees with a management or HR background, health sector knowledge or experience of community organisations.

understand and accept the responsibilities and liabilities as trustees be non-judgmental and respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own have good listening, verbal and written communication skills be able to exercise good independent judgement have good numeracy skills to understand accounts with the support of the treasurer be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection be willing to undertake training in your role

The demand for advice services in Knowsley has never been higher. Clients are accessing our services in different ways and are requiring assistance with increasingly complex issues. Trustees help to set the strategic priorities for the organisation and ensure that we maintain the core principles of the Citizens Advice service, ensuring that we remain relevant and deliver a quality service to the residents of Knowsley.
