What will you be doing?
We are a community hub in a Carnegie Library in Herne Hill. Our current trustee treasurer is due to retire. We hire out our rooms for both community and commercial use. We have 2 part time centre managers and a number of caretakers paid on an hourly basis. We need a trustee who will assist with a business plan, report to the charity commission and oversee the finances generally as well as participate generally as a trustee. We meet once a month, usually in our building. We are a thriving hub with roots in the community . We hope to open a community cafe in 2025.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a trustee with accounting experience and skills, either in the charity or commercial sector.
