- Role Summary:
- Provide comprehensive support to Brent Hoberman across multiple entities within the group.
- Assist in research, analysis, and preparation of briefing notes for key engagements.
- Support event management, including curation of guest lists and management of VIP invitations and RSVPs.
- Optimize operational processes and assist with internal and external communications.
- Create compelling copy for various platforms, from social media to policy notes.
- Manage relationships and maintain a CRM database across the group's companies.
- Participate in strategic meetings, offering insights and contributing to decision-making.
- Help launch new ventures, providing support in various aspects, including pitch decks and financial modeling.
- Role Requirements:
- Proven intellect and work ethic, with relevant experience in startups, VC funds, big tech, or advisory services.
- A deep passion for and understanding of the tech ecosystem and startups.
- High emotional intelligence, proactive mindset, and the ability to forge strong relationships at all levels.

As a Founder’s Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Brent Hoberman across Founders Forum Group, Founders Factory, and firstminute capital. You will work closely with his Chief of Staff Rosie to juggle responsibilities across the ecosystem, quickly becoming responsible for a wide range of tasks, from preparing briefing notes and curating small events; to contributing to high-level strategic decisions and launching new ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Support preparing briefing notes and speaker notes for engagements.
- Event Management: Support the Founders Forum events team in curating guest lists, sending VIP invitations and managing RSVPs.
- Operations: Streamline operational processes across the group and provide support on internal and external communications.
- Copywriting: Support writing copy, whether for social media posts, marketing communications, editorial pieces, policy notes or pitch decks.
- Relationship Management: Coordinate introductions and manage CRM across companies within the group.
- Strategic Thinking: Join Brent and Rosie in meetings, offering insights and influencing decision-making.
- Venture Development: Assist in launching new ventures and providing support as needed (from pitch decks to financial models, wherever support is needed).
About the Role:
This is a highly cross-functional role at the heart of the tech ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute to business-critical projects. You will report to Rosie, Brent's Chief of Staff, and work closely with his executive assistant.

Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Smart & hard-working (whether demonstrated through academics or career), which might include experience working at a start-up, in a VC fund, in big tech or in professional / advisory services
- Deep passion for and understanding of the tech ecosystem & start-ups
- Exceptional EQ, a "can-do" attitude (no task is too big nor too small), and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills & written communication
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including early & late-stage founders, corporate CEOs, government officials, and early-stage investors
