- Design and implement the full data flow: ingestion, transformation, and presentation.
- Create insightful data visualisations and drill downs for customer analysis.
- Ensure high-quality data outputs with schema and unit testing.
- Develop projections from raw data to inform care improvements.

Birdie offers a competitive salary of £83k - £90k, plus stock options after the probation period. Adjusted salaries are available based on location for UK-based employees. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, your mission will be to give Birdie customers insight into the quality and efficiency of the care they deliver, highlighting where and how they can improve. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing the full flow of data—from ingestion to transformation, and finally, presentation. This includes designing drill downs to allow customers to uncover meaningful insights and drive informed decisions. Your work will play a critical role in turning data into an empowering tool for improving care delivery.
Job requirements include advanced SQL skills, expertise in using DBT for developing well-documented, easy to use data models, and proficiency with BI tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau. You should also be well practiced leveraging schema and unit testing to ensure data quality. An ability to create data projections based on raw events will be essential.
We offer competitive salary packages, the role is £83k - £90k per annum. We also grant generous stock options to any permanent employee at the end of the probation period. We adjust salaries based on the cost of living index for employees based outside of the UK. This role will need to be based in the UK. We organise regular in-person events and online socials to make sure you can meet up with peers. Birdie does not currently support any visa applications and therefore we do require permanent right to work in the UK.
