Wellcome Collection is a free museum and library exploring health and human experience. We are embarking on an exciting period of change with a new ten-year strategy. This role will play an important part in bringing to life our vision of a world where everyone’s experience of health matters.

As a Library Experience & Engagement Facilitator, you will be working in the Library Experience & Engagement team within Curatorial and Public Practice. Your role will involve providing support to users across library service points and through a remote enquiries service, ensuring that all users receive accurate and timely access to information and resources. You will also be involved in projects with other parts of Wellcome Collection, which could include cataloguing, transcription projects, or cross-team engagement activities.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, with experience of engaging with a range of audiences. You should have a passion for libraries and archives, engaging people with collections, and working to create inclusive environments in a library setting. Experience of delivering a high level of service in a customer or visitor-focused environment is essential.

The Library Experience and Engagement team contributes to a daily rota, supporting the library service open 6 days a week. Working patterns will include a regular rota of Thursday evenings and Saturdays. The team currently supports a day off rota each fortnight, which can be worked onsite or at home.
