Role Summary:Manage accurate financial reporting and ensure the accounting system is up-to-date.Own the management accounts reporting process.Implement effective financial controls within the company.Report to the Financial Controller and collaborate with the Finance Assistant.Provide insights to support operations and retail teams based on DTC and Retail metrics.Engage in cross-functional projects to support business decision-making.
Role Requirements:Minimum 4 years of finance experience.A recognized accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and controls.Proven experience in ecommerce or retail finance roles.Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.Excellent attention to detail and structured working approach.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Adaptability and problem-solving mindset.Self-driven with the capability to take initiative.User experience with Xero is a plus.A passion for sustainability and environmental causes.

The Role: We're looking to hire a Finance Manager who will champion accurate financial reporting in the business, ensuring the accounting system is accurate and up-to-date, owning the management accounts reporting and being responsible for effective financial controls across the business. The role will report into our Financial Controller and will liaise closely with our internal Finance Assistant. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting processes and principles along with a keen interest in DTC + Retail metrics for a consumer goods brand. There will be elements of cross-functional projects and work, in particular to support the operations and retail teams and deliver key insights to decision makers across the business. Job requirements: 4+ years finance experience, Qualified accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), Good knowledge of accounting principles, processes and controls, Experience in a similar role within ecommerce or retail is essential, Strong analytics skills (Microsoft Excel), Excellent attention to detail, with organised structured working and strong prioritisation skills, Strong communication skills, able to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, An open mindset, able to overcome operational challenges at speed, Ability to take ownership of challenges and processes, Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills, Self-motivated, willing to take the initiative, Experience using Xero (preferred but not required), Passionate about sustainability and the environment.
