What will you be doing?
We are looking for online volunteer teachers to teach the following subjects online: 1. Teaching the Arabic language: Schedule:1. Children (Level 1): Wednesday, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM2. Children (Level 2): Wednesday, 7:10 PM - 8:10 PM3. Adults (Level 1): Sunday, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM4. Adults (Level 2): Sunday, 7:10 PM - 8:10 PM 2. Teaching Maths Schedule:1. Year 5 (Key Stage 2): Monday, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM2. Year 6 (Key Stage 2): Monday, 7:10 PM - 8:10 PM3. Year 7, 8, and 9 (Key Stage 3): Saturday, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM4. Year 10 and 11 (Key Stage 4): Saturday, 12:10 PM - 1:10 PM 3. Teaching English Schedule: 1. Year 7, 8, and 9 (Key Stage 3): Saturday, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM2. What are we looking for?
Skills:
Strong Subject Knowledge: Proficiency on the subject(s) you wish to teach. Digital Literacy: Competence in using online teaching platforms, Google Meet, and creating teaching materials using tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Communication Skills: Clearly explaining concepts and adapting communication styles to suit different learners. Organisational Skills: Planning, preparing, and delivering structured and engaging lessons. Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and adaptability to effectively respond to learner questions and challenges.
Experience:
Teaching or Tutoring Experience: Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring Working with Diverse Groups (Desirable): Familiarity with teaching children or adults from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds. Online Teaching (Desirable): Experience teaching or working in a virtual environment is advantageous.
