Volunteer Event Photographer

What will you be doing?

The event photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that document our participants at various marathons, half marathons and similar events across the UK. Which events you attend is completely up to you, depending on location and availability.  You'll be working with Zoe in the events team to understand each event's objectives and make sure that your photography aligns with the overall vision.   Key Responsibilities:  1. Photography: Capturing high-quality images during mass-participation events, including candid shots, portraits and group photos. 2. Communication: Coordinate with event organisers to understand each event brief, including shot lists. 3. Creative Direction: Take a creative lead to capture unique and memorable images. 4. Participant Interaction: Interact with event attendees in a professional and friendly manner, guaranteeing a positive experience while being photographed.

What are we looking for?

Requirements:  Proven experience as a professional photographer, ideally in an event environment or with experience capturing images of moving subjects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work weekends to accommodate event schedules.
