Role Summary

  • Support the Curator in all stages, from research to installation and presentation.
  • Contribute to the live programme including press and publicity.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as organising meetings, writing correspondences and handling exhibition enquiries.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in a curatorial department or independent arts project handling.
  • Ability to write interpretive texts about exhibitions and related programmes.
  • Experience working with artists across various media from installations to research and live events.
  • Outstanding administrative, research, and project management skills.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Programming Team as Assistant Exhibitions Curator.

You will work closely with the Curator to realise all aspects of the exhibition from research to installation, presentation and interpretation, supporting the live programme, and getting involved with press and publicity. You will also provide administrative support; organising meetings, drafting correspondence and dealing with general exhibition enquiries.



To succeed in this role, you will have:




  • Experience of working within a curatorial department or producing independent arts projects.
  • Writing interpretive texts around exhibitions and related programmes and working with artists in a variety of ways, from installations and objects to interdisciplinary research, performance and live events.
  • Excellent administration, research and project management skills.
