Role Summary

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to Business Central users.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving for data entry, reports, workflows, and integrations issues.
  • Conduct user training and create relevant documentation.
  • Providing ongoing support for the legacy Dynamics NAV system.
  • Assist in the implementation of new Business Central features.
  • Participating in system upgrades and maintenance activities.

Role Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
  • Strong understanding of business processes within Retail and/or E-commerce.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Desirable - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Desirable - Experience with SQL Server, database queries, AL development language, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV is a plus.

Business Central/Navision ERP Support Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Support Analyst with knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly known as Dynamics NAV) to join our ERP team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the successful implementation and maintenance of our Business Central system. You will also provide technical support for our legacy Dynamics NAV environment during the transition until its retirement.

Responsibilities



  • Business Central Support:

    • Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users on Business Central functionalities.


    • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to data entry, reports, workflows, and integrations.


    • Conduct user training sessions and create supporting documentation.


    • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.


    • Proactively identify areas for process improvement within the Business Central environment.





  • Dynamics NAV Support:

    • Provide ongoing support for our existing Dynamics NAV system and manage our incoming helpdesk ticket queue


    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NAV.


    • Assist in the migration of data and functionalities from NAV to Business Central.


    • Manage daily alerts & error messages to identify any ongoing issues needing attention





  • Project Support:

    • Assist in the implementation and go-live of new Business Central features and modules.


    • Assist in the design and testing of new system enhancements.


    • Collaborate with other technology teams to ensure smooth system operations.


    • Participate in UAT and help training end users


    • Participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities.



Required Skills / Experience


  • 2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.


  • Strong understanding of business processes within Retail and/or E-commerce


  • Strong understanding of systems processes for various areas (retail, finance, stock management).


  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.



Desirable Skills / Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


  • Experience with SQL Server and database queries.




  • Knowledge of C/AL or AL development languages.


  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.


  • Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
