What will you be doing?
We are a soon to be new CIO having ran since 2021 as a network of volunteers, patients and carers. We have built up strong relationships in the area we cover and now want to take that step forward. We are building an new Board of Trustees and have an incoming CEO that started the network from scratch who wants to step back in 2 years. We are looking for a strong chairperson that can help us achieve our ambitions, help design our future look and feel and continue telling the experiences of cancer patients in our area.
What are we looking for?
Proven leadership experience in the non profit sector, preferably in cancer-related organisations. Strong knowledge of cancer-related issues, research, and healthcare systems. Excellent communication and public speaking skills. Fundraising and financial management experience. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Commitment to the charity's mission and values.
