This unique HR Advisor role combines supportive human resources work with critical change management, providing professional HR assistance across the entity. Your tasks include advising HR processes, guiding managers and staff members, supporting recruitment, maintaining HR policies, and driving learning initiatives. You’ll also facilitate the delivery of change management schemes, contribute to change adoption monitoring, and support positive employee experiences during transitions. Requisite qualifications include a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR work history, understanding of UK employment laws, adeptness in leading Learning and Development, experience in organisational change management, excellent communicative and interpersonal prowess, and the discretion to handle confidential information. Knowledge of the charity or conservation domain is advantageous. Buglife is an exciting organisation dedicated to saving the small things that run the planet. We are seeking an HR Advisor to join our dedicated team. This unique position combines two distinct aspects: HR Advisor Role and Change Management Support.
As an HR Advisor, you’ll provide professional HR support across the organisation, working closely with the HR Director and HR Administrator to deliver effective HR services. Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and staff, supporting recruitment and selection processes, assisting with employee relations matters, maintaining HR policies and procedures, and leading learning and development initiatives.
In the Change Management Support role, you’ll support the implementation of change initiatives and help maintain positive employee experience during periods of transition. This includes supporting the delivery of change management initiatives, creating and distributing change communications, assisting with engagement activities, supporting managers in implementing change, coordinating feedback mechanisms, and contributing to change adoption monitoring.
Job requirements include a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience, knowledge of UK employment legislation, strong experience of leading Learning and Development, demonstrable experience in change management or organisational development, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience in the charitable or conservation sector is desirable.
