What will you be doing?

Youth Link Networks is a Youth UK registered charity. It operates under the following two pillars: 1- Arts, Culture and Heritage  2-Health, Nutrition and Food Security We operate projects under these pillars with the intention of providing education, skills, employment and building on young people's confidence. All of our projects are sustainability focused.  Our demographic is aimed at young people in Africa, Carribean and London but for now, we are based solely in Uganda and operating events in London.  2025 is a very exciting year for us as we explore the youth space in London, we are on a mission to create a series of short videos (that will go on tik tok, instagram, youtube) exploring the youth centres in London drawing on comparisons for services in South, East, North and West and the demographics using it to understand where the youth crime gap lies.  We're seeking someone that supports the vision, has videography and editing (we also have someone on the team that can edit and can support) expertise, can commit to at least 2 days of filming per month and wants to bring this compelling issue to light that we may be able to ignite debates for further funding for youth development in London.  All travel and lunches provided.

What difference will you make?

This project has the potential for us to drive policy changes in local government if it gets the visibility needed. It also has the potential to drive more income and resources to local centres providing valuable services to young people.
