The role reports to the Associate Director (AD), Strategy. You will be enhancing programme and project management quality and capability at Wellcome while supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives across the organisation. The CEO Office is a central nexus for ensuring the organisation’s resources, processes, and activities are aligned to deliver Wellcome’s mission and strategy.
You will be responsible for developing a programme management centre of excellence for consistent, high-quality delivery, implementing project management tools, providing professional development for staff, fostering a culture of learning and inclusivity, adhering to Wellcome's governance and values, and adapting roles to support Wellcome's mission.
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, possessing significant knowledge of programme management best practices, capable of managing multiple projects across various stakeholders with a clear link to Wellcome’s mission.
