We are looking for a Project Officer to join the Vector Control & Therapeutics team within Wellcome’s Infectious Disease (ID) programme, which funds research to improve understanding of infectious diseases, and advance interventions to control and combat infectious diseases.
This role will be responsible for effective administration of workstreams, and work packages related to a set of projects in the ID portfolio, working with individuals in our Vector Control & Therapeutics team, Prevention team and Epidemics & Epidemiology team. You will own the project control environment, ensuring compliance with project management processes, upkeep of documentation, progress monitoring and risk management. You will also lead on the operational elements of contract administration and grant management for projects in the ID portfolio.
We are looking for someone who is open to working across multiple teams and disciplines, has experience working in a project and/or portfolio management environment and is familiar with project and/or portfolio management processes and practice. You should have demonstrable experience communicating about complex information, experience in the use of project management tools and systems, familiarity with project management IT systems and an interest in infectious diseases and global health.
To apply please upload your current CV and complete our short application. Interview dates: W/C Monday, 3 March 2025.
