This role is offered on a fixed-term 9-month contract with the potential to extend, and is available as a home-based or hybrid position with access to our Edinburgh co-working office.
The role: As a Community Outreach Officer, you will lead the Community Outreach Project in Scotland, aimed at opening the outdoors to groups facing significant barriers to walking. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing the project, developing new partnerships, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies. You will also manage the project budget, evaluate program effectiveness, and capture success stories to demonstrate the impact of our work.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate will be qualified or trained in Hill and Moorland or Mountain leadership, with a valid 16-hour Outdoor First Aid Certificate.
