As the Project Curator for the Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition, you will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of a show that highlights a groundbreaking medieval artifact that communicates the Norman Conquest of England in 1066. Your role will include a wide variety of responsibilities, ranging from liaising with diverse internal and external teams, managing project documentation, to coordinating new photography and rights for reproduction.
The ideal candidate should have a background in history, art or archaeology, coupled with excellent project-management and communication skills. A keen eye for details and the ability to deliver under pressure is a must. The role: We are excited to offer the position of Project Curator for the Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams including curatorial, exhibitions, learning, and conservation to create an engaging visitor experience. Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager and Lead Curators, managing project documentation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating new photography and rights for reproduction.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate should have a background in history, archaeology, or art history, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in managing project documentation and liaising with stakeholders is essential. The role demands a detail-oriented professional who can support exhibition delivery under pressure.
