Requirements include pragmaic experience in event delivery, excellent communication skills, adaptability for flexible hours, and proficiency in IT. Furthermore, an outgoing and engaging personality is preferred.

Salary: £26,000 per annum (TO BE REVIEWED IN APRIL)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week (hours may vary and will include weekend and evening work).
We are seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, and active individual to join our small yet dynamic Events & Community Engagement Team. Your role will involve supporting the delivery of events and activities in our parks and open spaces.
The successful candidate will assist in the organisation of outdoor events, collaborate with volunteers, and support the team in facilitating a variety of activities within the parks and green spaces of Milton Keynes. From community litter picks and walks to larger-scale events, you will take pride in promoting opportunities for community engagement with our outdoor spaces.
Flexibility is essential, as hours may vary and will include weekend and evening work.
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Events & Community Engagement Team in the development and delivery of the Trust’s events and activities programme.
- Providing administrative support to the Events & Community Engagement Team.
- Increasing awareness and usage of the parks, thereby raising the Trust’s profile and enhancing its reputation through events and activities.
- Supporting volunteers, organisations, groups, and individuals in holding events and activities in the parks, ensuring compliance with appropriate terms and conditions.
- Assisting the Events & Community Engagement Team in collaborating with our volunteers.
