Role Summary

  • Head the Global Commitment program and develop strategy along side the Lead.
  • Manage significant strategic programmes and assist the team in achieving program goals.
  • Direct and handle the annual delivery of the Global Commitment's industry-leading report.

Role Requirements

  • Track record of leading successful initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the plastic packaging industry.
  • Expertise in corporate disclosure or in publishing external reports.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in related sectors (business, economics, NGO).

As part of our Plastics Initiative, you will work collaboratively across the Foundation to drive our common vision of a circular economy for plastic, in which it never becomes waste.

The role entails leading the Global Commitment programme. You will directly support the Lead to shape and deliver the strategy; manage key strategic programmes; and support the team to deliver against programme objectives. You will work closely with the Lead and Exec Lead to shape the next phase of the Global Commitment and be responsible for the delivery of the Global Commitment’s industry-leading annual report.

Job requirements include proven experience of leading successful multi-stakeholder initiatives, demonstrated understanding of the plastic packaging industry, and expertise in corporate disclosure of packaging usage and/or publishing external reports. A minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in a relevant sector (e.g. business, economics, NGO) is required.
