Role Summary

About ThinkForward: ThinkForward exists to support young people to create better and brighter futures. We aim to help them identify, realise, and shape their aspirations and be ready for a successful transition into work. We focus on young people experiencing barriers such as challenging relationships, living in low-income households, or growing up in areas with limited opportunities. Our goal is to prevent these young people from becoming part of the unemployment statistics. In 2026, we aim to support over 1,500 young people.

The Role: As a Progression Coach at ThinkForward, you will be at the heart of our initiative, providing personalized one-to-one coaching and group activities. You will help young people overcome challenges that hold them back from achieving their potential and ensure a safer and more successful pathway into employment and adulthood. This role involves managing the ThinkForward programme within one of our schools and its local community, ensuring quality and impact, and managing relationships with our partner schools and businesses. Access to a reliable vehicle is required.

Job Requirements: Applicants should have experience in coaching or mentoring, particularly with young people. They should be capable of managing multiple tasks and building strong relationships. A commitment to ThinkForward's values of equity, diversity, and inclusion is essential.
