Role Summary

- Expert proficiency in Power BI, Excel, ERP, BI stack, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in multi-entity or acquisition-driven businesses is a plus
We are seeking an experienced SQL Analyst to support the development, maintenance, and analysis of our SQL-based data warehouse. The analyst will ensure accurate data flows, maintain SQL infrastructure, and generate insights related to sales performance, pricing, churn, product mix, and waste stream volumes. The role will also support the integration of data from new acquisitions, ensuring consistent reporting and scalable forecasting models based on historical data stored in the SQL data warehouse.
Key Outcomes for the Role: - Reliable SQL infrastructure and data warehouse. - Clear visibility into sales drivers including pricing, churn, and client growth. - Forecasting capabilities based on historical SQL data. - Integrated data from new acquisitions supporting consistent reporting across the business.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities: - Build and maintain SQL data warehouse structures to ensure reliable and scalable data access. - Develop and maintain SQL pipelines and data tables supporting business intelligence and forecasting. - Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting datasets. - Develop and maintain forecasting models in SQL using historical data stored in the data warehouse. - Support the integration of new acquisitions into the SQL data warehouse. - Develop new SQL data structures and datasets to incorporate newly acquired operational and sales data. - Work closely with commercial, finance, and operations teams to translate business questions into SQL analysis.
Requirements: - Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, window functions). - Experience working with SQL data warehouses and large datasets. - Experience building data pipelines and data models. - Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. - Ability to communicate clearly and simply to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience working with multi-entity or acquisition-driven businesses is beneficial. - Expert proficiency in Power BI, Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), ERP/BI stack (e.g., MS Dynamics / NetSuite / Salesforce), and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint).
