Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is a marine conservation and campaigning charity that has grown into one of the UK’s most successful over the last 35 years. Our mission is to ensure the health of our oceans for future generations. We are looking for an Individual Giving Senior Manager to lead our Individual Giving programmes. This is an exciting role at an exciting time for SAS.

The Role: As the Individual Giving Senior Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 3 people and an income target of £1.2 million. You will champion Individual Giving across all departments, ensuring our donors are recognised as being at the heart of our organisation. You will be responsible for implementing new ways of working across teams to ensure Individual Giving is embedded effectively. You will also manage activity across multiple channels and products to both retain our amazing, loyal donors and attract many more to support us.

Job Requirements: We are looking for someone with in-depth practical knowledge across fundraising, in particular individual giving and legacy programmes. You should have experience working in a fundraising role in a charity or agency, with proven success in growing income. You should also have line management experience and experience of developing and managing individual giving, legacy and mid-value programmes.

Benefits: We offer a range of benefits including 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays, a 2-Year Fixed Term Contract, and a salary range of £39,663 – £46,782. This role can either be based at our ocean-side office in St Agnes, Cornwall, or fully remote anywhere in the UK. If based remotely, we’ll provide you with the essential equipment to be able to work from home, as well as paying for your travel and accommodation for agreed visits to our HQ, events or external meetings.
